At SIE Central We Believe That

Learning Comes First: SIE Central is a place of learning. Stay on task and focus on your or your peers' learning potential.

English Is Our Bridge: English is our community language. While speaking, use appropriate language and broaden your vocabulary.

Manners Are a Must: Be friendly. Be polite and respectful to everyone, including students, teachers, administrators, support staff, and visitors.

Teachers Are Our Guides: Follow teacher instructions, class expectations and norms.

Preparation Is Key: Be sure to be in class with all your materials, ready to work at the time that class begins.

Respect Is Shown Through Words and Actions: How you treat others shows how you want to be treated. A little respect goes a long way. Be on your best behavior at all times.

Friends Encourage Others: Give encouragement to your fellow students. Build each other up. If you see someone being treated poorly, tell them to stop or immediately report it to teachers, administrators, or support staff.

Our Classroom Is Our Home: Treat class and personal property with care and consideration. Do not intentionally damage any items, furniture, or part of the facility.

Doing Our Best Is The Best We Can Do: Choose to challenge yourself. Choose to try again. Choose not to quit. Show others what is possible. Today we can be better.
