Innovative Approaches to Early Education

Head Start places English at the center of the learning experience.
Children develop their language through speaking, listening, reading, writing,
and purposeful activities that give them real reasons to communicate.
The goal is simple: to help each child become a more confident and capable English user.

Nurturing Your Child's Future in English

Head Start is designed for children aged 7 who are ready to use English more actively and independently.
Through reading, writing, conversation, and hands-on learning, children strengthen the language skills
they need to understand ideas, communicate clearly, and participate with confidence.

English is used consistently throughout the program, giving children frequent opportunities
to listen, respond, ask questions, and express their own thinking.
Our educators introduce age-appropriate texts and activities that build comprehension
and communication together, helping children move from simply knowing words
to using language with greater fluency and purpose.

The SIE Central Head Start Program encourages students to:

1. Use English as their “Bridge Language” to communicate naturally with classmates and instructors.
2. Build confidence through reading, writing, listening, and speaking in a variety of meaningful contexts.
3. Express their own ideas, ask questions, and make connections with increasing independence.

Program Highlights

At the heart of our program is the belief that language learning evolves
through four essential stages: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
We incorporate thematic learning approaches to create organic English
language experiences for every child.
Through the use of age-appropriate learning materials,
students are empowered to absorb concepts and express them confidently
in their own words.
In partnership with families and the wider community, we promote
positive behaviors and instill values of responsibility and integrity in our
students.
Our collaborative teaching model, where instructors work together to
support each child, encourages self-esteem and achievement.
We nurture the whole child by supporting growth in verbal, spatial,
physical-motor, cognitive, interpersonal, and personal understanding
through thoughtfully designed activities.
